Fulda Memorial Library was the setting for the 2017 Edible Book Festival that took place on Monday evening. Emily Heintz, who is employed at the library, was the coordinator for this year’s event.
“An edible book festival is where the contestants think of a book and make something that is edible that has something to do with the book,” Heintz explained.
Monday’s Edible Book Festival had ten entries that were judged by Sheryl Larson, Miss Fulda Courtney Heppler and Norma Dittman. There were five categories for entries including Most Bookish, Punny (or Funny), Youth under age 18, Best Tasting, and People’s Choice.
