2019 Fulda High School commencement ceremonies began on Friday evening with the strains of “Pomp and Circumstance” (by Edward Elgar), filling the gymnasium. The song was performed by select Fulda High School Band members. Twenty-three seniors, attired in their caps and gowns, walked the aisle and took their seats at the front of the gym.
All in attendance were welcomed to the 2019 Commencement Ceremonies by Fulda High School Principal Mike Page.
Lance Marki, Senior Class President, addressed the audience.
Co-Valedictorians, Rachael Ethridge and Frances Piper, were announced and recognized by Principal Pagel.
“Count on Me” by Bruno Mars was sung by the Graduation Choir under the direction of Matthew Saxman.
Breanna Golda and McKenzie Evers presented “Looking Back” as they shared class memories from years gone by. Their presentation was followed by a “Memories of the Class of 2019” slideshow. “The Years to Come” (looking to the future) was shared by Emma Wehking and Harlie Welling.
