Mark your calendar! Get out your cookbooks! Friday, December 6th, is the 2nd Annual Uffda Hotdish Cook-off. Serving begins at 5:30 p.m.
It will be held at the Fulda High School gymnasium, before the Coyotes Girls Basketball game versing Mountain Lake Area.
Fulda Area Community Club Uffda Hotdish Cook-off Committee members are looking for at least 20 hotdishes – in 9 x 13 pans or crock pots – to be judged by a distinguished panel of judges on creativity, aroma and taste! (Judges for the event are not allowed to enter a hotdish.)
Hotdishes must be brought to the Fulda High School Cafeteria by 5 p.m. on December 6th.
EVERYONE is encouraged to enter for a chance to win a prize basket and have your name placed on the “Sojourning Sculpted Spoon of Superiority”.
The menu for the Uffda Hotdish Cook-off is hotdish, bun, cheese, milk or water. Serving begins at 5:30 and will continue until gone.
DON’T FORGET! Wear your Ugly Christmas/Holiday Sweater and be a part of the Ugly Christmas/Holiday Sweater Contest that will be held during half-time of the basketball game.
Fulda Uffda Hotdish entry forms must be turned in by Tuesday, December 3rd. To register, contact Beth Kaufman at (507) 425-2917 or send your entry form to Fulda Area Community Club, P.O. Box 271, Fulda, MN 56131. Information required on the entry form is your name, phone number, and name of the hotdish recipe you are entering.
If you are unable to attend the Uffda Hotdish Cook-off after registering, please notify Beth Kaufman.
The Uffda Hotdish Cook-off is part of the Parade of Lights festivities. This year is the Golden Birthday of the Parade of Lights: 7th Annual Parade of Lights, to be held on Saturday, December 7th.
So, come on out! Enter your favorite hotdish in the 2nd Annual Uffda Hotdish Cook-off, proudly wear your ugly Christmas Holiday Sweater, support the girls basketball Team and expect there to be a whole lot of fun throughout the evening!
