Heidi Winter, auditor/treasurer, placed before the board the warrants. The chairman was authorized to sign the Audit List dated March 6, 2018 with fund totals and warrants numbered 155271-155325: County Revenue Fund $64,381.66, County Road and Bridge Fund $10,950.62, EDA $79.00, Ditch $200.00, Sunrise Terrace $378.22 totalling $75,989.50.
The board approved the report of the ditch committee which included a repair on JD 40 along with mailings for the JD 22 improvement. Winter informed the board from now on when there is a mailing the county will be reimbursed right away instead of waiting until the end of the year. Currently JD 22 has $3,513.27 of the petitioners cash that’s left in the account. Winter said in talking with attorneys and engineer that amount will be enough to get to the preliminary hearing. The preliminary hearing is set for March 15 at 10:00 a.m.
Winter asked to hold a special meeting in regards to 2019 departmental budget talks, for Tuesday, July 10th and Wednesday, July 11th starting at 8:00 a.m. both days.
