7th Annual Heritage Country Show held on Sunday

Country music resounded throughout Fulda High School on Sunday afternoon during the 7th Annual Heritage Country Show.

Performers for the show included  Jason Grinnen, who was also the emcee, Kalli Whiteford, Kyle Kiner, Cindy and Roger Harvey, Craig Borsgard, and Paulette Whiteford.

The crowd was delighted that G. W. (Doc) Schwarz, who has been battling illness,  made a guest appearance at the end of the show, singing “Folsom Prison Blues”.

Jason Grinnen sang “Chiseled In Stone”, “Devil Woman”, “King of the Road”, and “Silver Wings”.

Kalli Whiteford performed “La Bamba”, “A Girls Gotta Do”, “I Already Do”, and “No One Needs to Know”.

“Bless the Broken Road”, “Long Black Train”, “Paint Me A Birmingham”, and “Three Wooden Crosses” were the songs presented by Kyle Kiner.

Cindy Harvey sang “Listen to a Country Song”, “So Wrong”, “Cowboys Sweetheart”, and “I’ll Get Over You”.

Performing Ring of Fire, Hello Walls, Walk On By and He’ll Have to Go was Roger Harvey.

Craig Borsgard performed Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground, Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain, On the Road Again, and Uncloudy Day.

Singing “Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses”, “One, Two, I Love You”, “That’s What I Like About You”, and “Top of the World” was Paulette Whiteford.

Duets that were performed were by Paulette Whiteford and Jason Grinnen who sang “Something Stupid”, and Cindy Harvey and Jason Grinnen who performed “Don’t Cry Joni”.

The show is a fundraiser for, and sponsored by Fulda Heritage Society, with the proceeds benefiting the Fulda Community.
