A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
December 11, 2018 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Jens, Kluis, Gunnink, and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard. Excused Absence: Travis Smith and Gerald Magnus.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve the minutes from November 29, 2018.
MSP and carried that all claims as presented were approved for payment. The Chairman was authorized to sign the Audit List dated December 11, 2018 with fund totals as follows and warrants numbered 157706 – 157769:

MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for Judicial Ditch 20A totaling $1,660.00.
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditch No. 34.
MSP to approve and authorize the Chair to sign the 2019 State of MN Board of Water & Soil Resources MPCA SSTS program grant agreement.
MSP to approve and authorize the Chair sign the 2019 FY capacity grant.
MSP to approve the low bid for Randy’s Floor covering in the amount of $3,687.92.
MSP to approve signing the United Community Action Transit agreement.
MSP to approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Joint Powers Agreement with MnCCC.
Open Forum/Public Comment – No members of the public were present.
MSP to approve no parking 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday on the West side of Ironwood Avenue in Slayton from Highway 30 to the house addressed 2134 Ironwood Avenue.
MSP to set a public hearing for the 2019 fee schedule for Thursday December 27, 2018 at 10:15 a.m.
MSP to approve accepting the County Coordinator’s resignation effective January 6, 2019.
MSP to begin the recruitment process for an Interim County Coordinator.
MSP to approve a closed session for labor negotiations on 10:15 a.m. December 18, 2018 for AFSCME Labor Negotiations pursuant to Minnesota Statute 13 D.03.
MSP to approve purchasing a multifunction document system in the amount of $7,856.00 through the NJPA government bid from account 062.
MSP to approve setting a public hearing for 2019 ditch levies for Thursday December 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
MSP to approve the license center counter update from the low bid of Trevor Rosenbrook Construction in a not to exceed amount of $2,303.00.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of November 18, 2018 to December 1, 2018.
MSP to go into closed session for EDA Director Amy Rucker’s annual review pursuant to Minnesota Statute 13D.05, subd. 3.
