The Murray County Commissioners held their last public meeting of 2018. Following the approval of the warrants and ditch bills, the commissioners gave their nod to setting the 2019 solid waste assessment, E911 sign assessment, beaver control fee, pocket gopher bounties and approval for Clean Water Partnership loan assessments along with tobacco license.
Shelly Lewis, Mona Henkels, and Craig Christensen appeared before the board with the request of receiving their quarterly funding as well as updating the board on their projects. Lewis said Phase 1 will be done and completed by the end of December. In addition five more requests have been submitted to TSA. According to Lewis, the department has 13 cost-share applications on hand, however, there are no funds to aid with these projects. Lewis explained they recently received a $100,000 capacity grant which will be used for state cost-share projects.
Ronda Radke presented 2019 resolution for setting the board meeting dates which will be the first, third, and fourth Tuesday of the month beginning at 8:30 a.m. The IRS mileage reimbursement rate was approved at 58¢ a mile and the 2019 meal reimbursement set at $40/meal.
Recorder, Evey Larson, presented the three year land records life cycle extension between Murray County and Fidlar Technologies. Fidlar has agreed to keeping the software service fee the same at $1,250 per quarter ending December 31, 2021.
