Effectively scoring inside and outside, the talented and experienced Red Rock Central Falcons cruised to a 74-38 victory over Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda in a high school varsity girls’ basketball game at Fulda last Tuesday evening, January 22.
The win by RRC (Sanborn-Lamberton-Storden-Jeffers) gave the Falcons an overall record of 10-7, while dropping HL-O / Fulda to 0-15.
Eight players scored in the game for the Coyotes, who connected on seven three-point shots — spread among four girls.
Freshman Chrissy Hermeling had the hot hand from beyond the arc as she drilled four three-pointers and finished with a team-leading 12 points for HLOF.
