A young couple, Arvid Erickson, 29, and Lois Lee, 23, were killed when a train struck their car at Revere. Both were members of the Lamberton High School. Mr. Erickson was the cousin of Mrs. Lucile Groskreutz of Fulda.

The weather was very agreeable this week giving children the opportunity to play outside in the snow.
The Fulda City Council gave the Fulda Fire Department the ‘go ahead’ on the purchase of a new fire truck.
Two separate snowmobile accidents, occurring within three days of each other, resulted in fatalities; Marlowe Behr, 44, was on a snowmobile run with friends when he hit a field approach and lost control of his sled; Eric Kirchner, 15, had been riding his sled by himself when he struck a radio tower guide wire.
