Every year for the past 15 years, the Iron Horse Motorcycle Club has held a chili feed cookoff, enabling club members to raise funds that are used for scholarships for graduating seniors.
This year, the Club’s 16th annual Iron Horse Motorcycle Club Chili Feed Cookoff, will be will held on Saturday, February 16, at the Fulda Legion/Community Hall. Cookoff participants are asked to bring their crockpot of chili to the event by 4 p.m. All chilis are welcome with three categories to utilize: mild, medium and hot. A panel of judges will choose the winner of each category.
Each year, one chili is selected by those in attendance as the People’s Choice Chili.
The menu for the cookoff is chili, crackers, bread, nachos, milk, juice, bars and cookies.
Tickets are available from any club member or at the door, with the price of $5.00 per person. Be sure to register for the door prizes to be given away.
All proceeds collected will be awarded to area students, and four $500 scholarship are scheduled to be awarded again this year.
