Yes, it has been a difficult winter with all of the snow and cold, but the Jeff and Allison Rasche family found a way to beat cabin fever and get outdoors for some fresh air, while providing their neighborhood with some creative sculpted artwork!
Jeff, Allison and children Tate (age 15), Jase (age 5) and Sully (age 3) created an almost ten foot snow sculpture of a painted turtle in their yard.
“We cleaned the snow off of our roof and it landed in a huge pile in our yard. The next morning, I was looking at it and I said to Jeff, ‘Hey, honey, that looks like a turtle!’ We decided to shape the snow pile a bit more, and when we were finished with it, we had a large painted turtle in our yard,” Allison explained.
