It is time for a special salute to those who bring us our food, the American farmers. In celebration of National Ag Week and Ag Day (March 14), we give thanks for the farmers, and the farming industry, that makes our lives possible.
The theme for National Ag Day 2019 is “Agriculture: Food for Life.” This is the 46th anniversary of the special day, which is celebrated throughout the country.
The unsung heroes of the farming and ranching community work every day of the year to help stock the aisles of the grocery store, the lumber yard, the clothes store and even the gas stations. They bring food, fiber and fuel to the entire country and more.
The Fulda Free Press, Tri County News, Nobles County Review, and Murray County News have again worked together to bring you a special section devoted to agriculture in our area.
