Murray County Commissioners discuss job description for administrator

Following the regular board meeting the commissioners met with Gary Weiers from David Drowns and Associates. Weiers shared a possible list for their consideration. The board went through each item line which included serving the county board, clerk to board, employee relations director, human resources director and department head, personnel management, budget and financial planning, manage department heads, and supervision. Although the board was in agreement with most items listed for the position there were a few brought up that should be changed. Weiers was directed to change the items discussed and bring back a revised job description for their next meeting so they could move forward with the hiring process.

The Murray County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, March 19th. Amongst agenda items was the approval for the warrants. In addition the approval of the report of the ditch committee of the Judicial Ditch 3 determining repairs were needed.

On and Off sale liquor licenses were approved for Rolling Hills Golf Club, Inc, Carlson Corn, Ruppert Oil Company, Pete’s Corner, Cenex Convenience Store, Trails Edge General Store as well as a Sunday liquor license for Rolling Hills Golf Club.
