The Fulda Free Press building is getting a face lift with the installation of two large plate glass windows above Kaiser Diamond Rib siding. Other businesses remodeling their store fronts in recent months include Red Owl Store and Nelson Drug Store. the work is being done by Conrad Darger.
A large crowd enjoyed “Dear Ruth” performed by members of the Fulda High School Drama Club under the direction of Mr. Baago.
Mr. Joe Gerber reports the sale of his farm to Prince Patterson who is expected to put the land in the soil bank.
Harold C. Nelson was granted life membership in the Minnesota State Pharmaceutical association on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wisdorf are honored with an open house in celebration of their 30th wedding anniversary.

Rites for Fred Goettig, who passed away on April 16th, were held on Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Emil Ramert rites were held at the Catholic Church on Monday. Mrs. Ramert died at her home after a lengthy illness.
