Clearing the bar at even six feet, Coyote senior Sam Cheadle was a clear winner in the high jump last Thursday (April 25) in the nine-team Worthington Invitational high school track and field meet.
Cheadle, who also placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 39 feet, seven-and-one-half inches, won the high jump by six inches as the second-place performance was 5-6.
By scoring big in both of those events, Cheadle accounted for 18 of Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda’s 41 points in the boys’ division.
