1938-LUJEAN DOUD-2019
LuJean Mary Doud was born on March 14, 1938 at the Slayton, MN hospital to Virgil and Corodell Doud. She grew up on the farm west of Dundee, MN. She attended the rural school west of Kinbrae, MN until it closed and graduated from Fulda High School in 1956. She attended business school in Mankato, MN and became a bookkeeper. Her first job was with Whirlwind in Windom, MN. She then moved to Denver, CO for a few years. Work then transferred her to Santa Maria, CA and then to Los Angeles, CA. LuJean’s home was in Downey, CA.
LuJean helped the church she attended with bookkeeping also. She loved quilting and studying the Bible. She will be missed by her quilting friends, Bible study friends, church members, and her neighbors. LuJean went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2019.
Survivors include her sister Virginia (Richard) Miller, nephew Richard (Tammy) Miller, Jr. and his son Nicholas, nephew Randall Miller and numerous cousins.
LuJean is prceded by her parents and all aunts and uncles.
Memorial service is being held on May 11, 2019 at Lakewood Christ Presbyterian Church in Lakewood, CA.
