Strains of patriotic music will fill the air as the students of Fulda Elementary School take to the stage to present their spring concert, “A Salute to America.”
Scheduled to begin at 1:30 on Friday, May 3rd, in the elementary school’s gym, the program will highlight both familiar and new songs about the United States of America. The elementary band, under the direction of Mr. Matthew Saxman, will perform “Liturgical Fanfare” by Robert Smith and “Reveille Rock” by John O’Reilly and Sandy Feldstein..
Kindergarteners through sixth graders, under the direction of Ms. Carolyn Beerman, will perform well – loved favorites such as “You’re a Grand Old Flag”, “This Land is Your Land”, and “God Bless America” as well as less familiar patriotic songs such as “A-M-E-R-I-C-A” and “This Is America” by Teresa Jennings and “Proud to Be American” by Jill Gallina,
The public is cordially invited to come and revel in the sounds of America’s patriotic music.
