The Fulda City Council met Monday, May 6, for the regular meeting. The Bondin Town Board had questions about the agreement on the gravel road on the west side of Seven Mile Lake that turns into South Lafayette Avenue, Fulda. The town board said there were two agreements, one in 2001, and later in 2006 because no one could find the earlier one. The city said that they maintain the road with grading and snow removal but that supplying the gravel was not their responsibility. The one quarter mile starts at 1004 South Lafayette Avenue running south. Both, the city and township will meet separately with the idea of sharing the cost of the gravel.
In New Business, Resolution No. 2019-10 for a $185,000 General Obligation Temporary Sewer Revenue Bond.
The city voted to switch their phone and internet to CenturyLink for all their buildings including ambulance and police departments.
The city contracted with Erik Skogquist as Local Assessor for 2020 and 2021 for a cost of $9,000 per year.
