Murray County Relay for Life event held Saturday evening

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life held at the Murray County Fairgrounds was again a great success. Total raised  for the vening was $64,726.00.

•Hanson Family $2,355.00

  Those attending enjoyed upbeat music and speakers.

The event included opening ceremonies, survivors lap, lighting of the luminaries, releasing of the butterflies and a fight back closing ceremony.

Along with raising money to help stop Cancer, a feeling of camaraderie was felt as many shared their stories of loved ones battling cancer or their own personal struggles and fight.
