Waiting on good weather. Some sunny, warm, and light breeze in a row days would be appreciated by those with a crop to plant. It will happen, but will it be in time? This is Memorial Day weekend and graduation for a lot of high school students. Five days of acceptable weather between now and the holiday.

Hats off to fellow veterans that have fallen. Their memory is celebrated for their service to country and will live on in their families, communities and all Americans. There are programs in almost every community. Your attendance is very much appreciated.

As a high school graduate, the world is a very large place with room for everyone to choose their path. Some have every step planned and some will wonder for a while seeking direction and purpose. There is no perfect way as long as you put your all into it. The world needs skilled people that can take on the challenge of the future. It’s your right earned and paid for by military veterans. Your freedom is precious.

Last weekend was spent fishing at Grand Rapids, MN. Walleye and perch, not many, but we only had one evening before the rain started. The rest of the time was wisely spent renewing old friendships of the five couples gathered for the weekend.

If I got rid of everything that didn’t “Spark Joy” in my life

I would be on the side of road holding my dog and coffee maker
