Twelve-year old Abel Piper saw a dream come true recently when his family traveled to Portland, Oregon for the Rubik’s Cube US Nationals. Piper participated as a competitor in the event.
Piper started solving Rubik’s Cube puzzles two years ago when his sister Fran had a puzzle that she could not solve.
“I went to YouTube and watched how to solve Rubik’s Cube puzzles, solved it and then would mess it up again, and solve it again until I got faster and faster at it,” Piper said.
