Ralph Covert of Ralph’s World presented a fun musical rock ‘n roll dance concert at Fulda City Hall on Wednesday, June 26th. His young audience was delighted with the high–energy and super–melodic songs that Ralph developed for this tour. He believes that a day with music is a better day.
The concert included activity songs, story songs, dancing songs and a healthy dose of pure silliness.
Ralph Covert became known to the public through his first rock ‘n roll band, The Bad Examples. They were Chicago’s top local original band during the 1990s and toured nationwide and in Europe.
Covert transitioned from The Bad Examples to Ralph’s World when he became a father and agreed to handle some “Wiggleworms” toddler sessions on his own terms: “i.e., no musical compromises save for the lyrics”.
He has four illustrated books for children: “Sawdust and Spangles” (illustrated by Giselle Potter; “Ralph’s World Rocks!” (a collection of lyrics brought to life by Charise Harper; “A Nutty Nutcracker Christmas” (drawings by Wilson Swain); and “Me and My Animal Friends” (art by Laurie Keller.
