A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
June 18, 2019 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Gunnink, Jens, Kluis, Thiner, and Welgraven. Also present were Travis Smith and Christy Riley.
MSP to approve the agenda as amended.
MSP to approve the minutes from the June 4 and June 12, 2019 meetings.
MSP and carried that all claims as presented were approved for payment. The Chairman was authorized to sign the Audit List dated June 18, 2019 with fund totals as follows and warrants numbered 159354 through 159442:

MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditch No. 3 totaling $1,857.50.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 22(2), 41, 53, 82 and Judicial Ditch No. 20 totaling $ 6,943.10.
MSP to approve Pay Application No. 2 to Sussner Construction, Inc. for the Courts Building Remodel Project in the amount $106,330.65.
MSP to accept a donation of $25.00 from the Monday Study Club, restricted for use in the Parks Department.
MSP to approve the ditch inspection report for County Ditches No. 22, 42, 50, 56, 57, 65, and Judicial Ditches No. 03, 07(2), 14, 18, 22.
There was no one present for Open Forum.
MSP to approve an amendment to a MnDOT contract for use of a MnDOT owned communication tower located in Tracy, Minnesota. The amended contract shall be signed by the Board Chair.
MSP to approve paying for maintenance and upgrades for the Zuercher System in the Murray County Sherriff’s Office in the amount of $37,442.10 to be paid to Central Square Technologies. Furthermore, Chief Deputy Landsman will offer the cities of Fulda and Slayton the option of purchasing the Zuercher Technology app for a cost of $126.00 per officer per year to be paid to the county.
MSP to permit the Murray County Racing Association to waive the county fee at the Murray County Speedway on June 28, 2019 for the Salute to Ag night.
MSP to permit Immanuel Lutheran Church to apply for a grant for funds to add a sidewalk near the lake for Seven Mile Lake Park in Fulda.
MSP to approve the bids for project SAP 51-599-107 and award the bid to Landwehr Construction, Inc. in the amount of $123,144.00.
MSP to approve Amendment #1 to the PreferredOne Summary Plan Descriptions for the Low, Mid, and High plans, further moving to authorize Human Resources Generalist Ronda Radke to sign the amendments.
MSP to approve the architect fees to be paid to CBS Squared, Inc. in the amount of $1,088.00 for a change order to separate Office 122 into two rooms.
MSP to approve PR#8 to be paid to Sussner Construction to make cosmetic repairs to walls in offices 121B and 121, the need for which was discovered during the courts building remodel project, in the amount of $4,120.00.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of June 2, 2019 to June 15, 2019.
