Fulda’s School Board met for their July meeting on Monday evening, 6 p.m., in the library at Fulda High School. The 2019-2020 Fulda High School Student/Parent Handbook was approved by the members of the board.
The board approved fees for the Hot Lunch program for the 2019-2020 year at $2.65 for elementary students and $2.75 for high school students. Breakfast fee will be $1.00 for students, $2.25 for adults. Reduced fees are available to students who qualify.
Activity fees were approved as no fee for band, chorus, food and animal science and art.
The fee for participation in speech will be $40.00. Sports fees are $40.00 for Varsity and $30.00 for Jr. High. The Family Sports Fee Maximum is $200.00 and the single maximum is $150.00.
Pay rates were set for substitutes teachers, paraprofessionals, food service manager, food service and custodial. Substitute teachers will receive $120 per day. Substitute paraprofessionals will receive $11.50 per hour; substitute food service manager will receive $10.50 per hour, and substitute food service workers $11.00 per hour. Substitute custodial staff will receive $11.00 per hour.
