Chad Merrihew, formerly of Birch Run, Michigan, has accepted the positition of President and CEO of Fulda Area Credit Union (FACU). He began his new duties on Monday, August 5th.
Merrihew comes to FACU from Security Credit Union, a $450 million community-based credit union that serves the entire state of Michigan. Security Credit Union has eleven branches, 60,000 members and 165 employees.
Merrihew began working for Security Credit Union as a teller in 1989. He left there after thirty years of employment and was serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
He holds both an Associate and a Bachelor degree from Baker College, Flint, MI, with a major in Management and a minor in Marketing.
