Kathryn Nasby is a new kindergarten teacher at Fulda Elementary School. She is a 2015 graduate of Jackson County Central, Jackson, MN. She attended Augustana University, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, earning an Elementary Education degree. While at Augustana, Nasby played volleyball, through a scholarship.
For student teaching, Nasby was at the Children’s Home Society and Hawthorne Elementary School, both of which are located in Sioux Falls.
Explaining her choice of becoming a teacher, Nasby stated, “I loved school. Because of that, I want to influence the lives of young children and help them to know that you can learn new things every single day, and that learning is fun!”
