Jackson Kramer led MCC / F’s boys in the 4,000-meter junior varsity (JV) race as he placed 23rd among a total of 94 finishers with a time of 18:13.6. He was 18th in the team scoring.
Backing up Kramer’s performance were Adrian Schwaller (33rd, 25 points, 18:43.2), Derek Kluis (39, 28, 19:07.4), Logan Clarke (85, 43, 22:14.8) and Wyatt Biren (86, 44, 22:16.6).
The Warriors (18-25-28-43-44) placed sixth, out of seven complete teams and eight incompletes, with 201 points.
Seventh-grader Caleb Appel ran a very good race in the junior high boys’ event, placing 12th among 81 total finishers with a 2,000-meter (1.25 miles) time of 8:00.1.
Zach Kirchner (25th overall, 8:36.2), John Olsem (32nd, 8:47.1) and Caleb Ethridge (49th, 9:36.6) also completed the course for the young Warriors, who were incomplete in team scoring with just four runners.
MCC / Fulda will participate in the 52nd annual Worthington Turkey Trot at the former Prairie View Golf Course Thursday, September 12.
