Ryanna Schreier leads JV, Lily Daniels places sixth among junior high girls

In addition to the seven varsity runners, the Warriors also ran four girls in the 4,000-meter junior varsity or JV race and five others in the 2,100-meter junior high event.     

MCC / F was incomplete in the JV competition, but had a strong near-the-front individual finish by sophomore Ryanna Schreier (seventh, 19:37.8). Sophomore Chelby Keesteloot (16th, 21:21.15), sophomore Meline Dernoncourt (39th, 23:36.25) and senior Kenzie Granum (49th, 25:50.58) also competed well for the Warriors.

Eighth-grader Lily Daniels continued her fine junior high season, finishing sixth at Madison with a fine time of 10:46.43 over the 1.3-mile distance. Eighth-grader Lindsey Hause (26th overall, 16th team scoring) was MCC / F’s second runner with her time of 12:11.48. Completing the scoring for the Warriors were seventh-grader Courtney Gengler (30th, 20 points, 12:30.07), eighth-grader Molly Clarke (36, 22, 13:20.38) and seventh-grader Sophia Nelson (37, 23, 13:38.18).

MCC / F was fourth (out of five complete teams and five incompletes) with a score of 87 points (6-16-20-22-23).
