Fulda Vitality Fitness is a fitness center that provides equipment and services to improve the physical health of the Fulda Community. It has 24-hour access for its members to accommodate all schedules. It has a full line of cardio and weight training equipment along with kickboxing equipment and a large mat floor area for classes such as Yoga, Zumba, HIIT, barre, strength circuits, and more. Jen Tiesler runs her Kempo Karate Warrior Training Academy out of the fitness center along with her certified personal training, re-Jenerate. FVF runs programming during the summer for young student athletes and works with the community to provide affordable fitness options for young and old alike.
Matt and Shannon bought the fitness equipment in December of 2016. Fitness has always been a passion and a part of their lives and when given the opportunity they decided to share it with a community they love. They remained in the old Appel Hardware Store building knowing they wanted to someday expand. That someday came much sooner than expected when the building they currently operate in changed ownership and became available. September of 2018, they hosted a Grand Re-Opening in their beautiful new location at 101 N. St. Paul Avenue which was wonderfully attended by a very supportive community.
The main part of the building was built in 1987 by Behr Enterprise for Aanenson Auction and Realty. In 1991 Larry Aanenson had Randy Dierks Construction build office space in the front of the Lester Building because he had sold his old office space to the bank. In 2010 the building was sold to Wayne and Marc Freeze but Aanenson Auction and Realty continued to work out of the building until 2017. In June 2018, aWe Assets (Ann Witzel) purchased the building and started a 4-month renovation project to insulate and finish the entire back pole building to accommodate the new users, Fulda Vitality Fitness.
