Mark Moran Antique Appraisals show held

Monday evening a Mark Moran Antique Appraisals show was held at Fulda City Hall. The show was made possible by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund; and was sponsored by the Plum Creek Library System.

With a full hour of appraisal seekers registered, the show opened with Moran explaining that he was not on a shopping trip and that he is definitely not an antique dealer, but an appraiser only.  “I do make house calls and do events. Today I had the privilege of touring the Fulda Heritage Annex Building and saw there a wonderful wooden frame that was used by the Fulda Odd Fellows,” Moran stated. “I encourage you to take the time to go and view it. It is wonderful.”

Moran is the author of more than twenty books that deal with antiques. He has been part of Antiques Road Show, and drives about 30,000 miles per year. He is scheduled for 80 antique appraisal shows this year alone, and is hoping to reduce that number in 2020. 2019 is his tenth year of doing Antique Appraisal shows.
