Family and friends were invited to join their loved one for a meal followed by an evening of dance at the Luverne Veterans Home’s Annual Harvest Moon Dinner and Dance on Sunday night, October 27th,
The Fulda Area Big Band provided the music including old classics like “In the Mood”, “Sentimental Journey”, “String of Pearls”, “For Once in My Life”, “Little Brown Jug”, “American Patrol”, “Birth of the Blues”, “Tuxedo Junction” and “Prom Jump”.
Resident Veterans enjoyed dancing with their favorite staff member or family member. Pictured here are Daryl and Cathy Ruesch as they dance across the floor to the music of the “Sentimental Journey”.
