Look Ma…No Pins! We can thank a Swiss inventor named George De Mestral for coming up with the idea of Velcro fastener which is now making its appearance on countless American products.  Most recent of these is baby diapers – no more pin-pricks from a fumbling father, over-anxious mother or baby sitter. The diapers are pre-folded, sewn with four layers of heavy weight Birdseye in the center for absorbency and are adjustable. Best of all, the Velcro tape does not suffer when washed and will last the lifetime of the diaper. A Babies Dream for sure.
