Painting pumpkins was an activity that was enjoyed by several residents at Maple Lawn Senior Care on Monday, October 21st.
“We like them to be very creative and do the painting on their own,” Activity Director Annette Kremer explained. “We do give ideas by printing them out and putting them on the tables.”
For some of the painters, it is the first time they have ever painted a pumpkin. Others enjoy being secretive about what they are painting.
But everyone has fun as they discuss Halloween traditions and do a lot of reminiscing.
The pumpkins are used throughout Maple Lawn Senior Care Center as decorations.
