Fulda Area Community Club Board Members are in search of additional members and fresh, new ideas. They are looking forward to their Thursday, November 14th, membership drive event and are sharing with the public about their experiences of being a part of the organization.
Board member Jen Tiesler, who has lived in Fulda for 42 years, is the owner of re-Jenerate, LLC, and Warrior Training Academy – Kenpo Karate. She accepted a 3 year board member position with Fulda Area Community Club in January of 2019. She is involved with the Wood Duck Festival Committee, Parade of Lights, Comedy Night, and the Miss Fulda Committee.
When asked why she joined the Fulda Area Community Club (FACC), she stated, “As a business owner and a life-long resident of Fulda, I wanted to give back. I would like to see Fulda grow by working together, with other local businesses, organizations, the city and the school to bring people to our town.”
She has two favorite FACC events: Comedy Night, held in March; and the Parade of Lights, held in early December. “I just love seeing smiles on everyone’s faces!” Tiesler exclaimed.
When asked how she would like to see FACC impact the city of Fulda, Tiesler said, “By getting more people involved., and by getting people talking about all the great events that we have. That will then draw people to Fulda and hopefully fill our schools with kiddos, and fill our main street with businesses and happy shoppers!”
Tiesler encouraged more people to become involved in FACC “because it is fun and fulfilling. And because we are a great group of people!”
“Anyone can help FACC in their endeavor to grow Fulda by contacting any of the board members, or any of the committee chairmen. We are ALWAYS looking for NEW ideas and helpers!” Tiesler stated.

The FACC Membership Drive Event will take place on Thursday, November 14th, beginning at 5:30 p.m. YOU are invited to attend! It will be held at the Fulda Community/Legion Hall. A free burger meal will be served at 6 p.m.
