The Fulda City Council met Monday, November 3, for the regular meeting. A special meeting was scheduled prior to it for the grading and snow removal on south Lafayette Ave. / 230 Ave. The Bondin Township Board and the Fulda Council agreed on the maintenance. They will finalize the agreement at their individual meetings.
Brian Ackerman brought an issue of a water break that was thought to be on private property and discovered to be on city property after digging. The property owner had an egress window installed with the digging. The city became aware of a problem earlier than normal. The city offered to pay $250 towards the expense of the $1000 bill.
FEMA assistance is available to the city for some box culverts and storm sewers for approximately $7,000. Randy Dierks Constructions was the low bidder on the project.
City employee Jesse Rucktaeschel has earned his Class D Water License and will receive a step increase of 50 cents.
Fulda City Attorney Larry Lucht is retiring and the city will be looking for proposals to fill the vacancy.
Four-way stops are being considered for Lafayette Avenue near the grade school. Price per stop sign is $100. The city will consider the proposal as well as other locations.
Lawn care assessments for a cost of $110 to $900 will be sent out.

A building permit was approved for Dale Kremer for a garage.
