A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD

October 22, 2019 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Gunnink, Jens, Kluis, Thiner, and Welgraven. Also present were Thomas Burke, Travis Smith, Christy Riley, and Amy Rucker.

MSP to approve the agenda as modified.

MSP to approve consent agenda item #1 (10/15/2019 minutes).

Open Forum / Public Comment: Clarice Nord was present.

MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches No. 6, 11, 22, 35, 43A, 43M, 44, 46, 55, 57, 63, 65, 67, 75, and Judicial Ditches No. 3, 10, 11, 14, 17, 20A totaling $55251.12.

MSP to approve pay applications to Cooreman Contracting for the Judicial Ditch No. 3 Improvement Project as follows: Pay Application 4: $260,573.74 (From 10-15-19 Agenda) and Pay Application 5: $197,520.48

MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditches No. 27, 86, 40 and Judicial Ditch 10.

MSP to approve a new logo for the Emergency Management Department.

MSP to extend the deadline of special condition #5 of Conditional Use Permit #1325 (SW1/4, Section 18, Lime Lake Township) to July 1, 2010.

MSP to appoint Dan Bierma to the Murray County Board of Adjustment to finish Doug Stewart’s term that expires on January 1, 2021.

MSP to adopt all proposed amendments to the following Murray County Land Use Ordinances and the Zoning Map effective January 1, 2020: Murray County Subdivision Ordinance, Murray County Renewable Energy Ordinance, Murray County Adult Use Ordinance, and Murray County Zoning Ordinance

MSP to approve seeding and hydromulching at Sundquist Park by David A. Swenson, LLC. for a cost of $3,937.75.

MSP to authorize transferring the following dollars within the Ditch Fund (21), further moving to authorize transferring any future amounts received in these drainage systems in the same manner:

12:57 p.m. MSP to come out of closed session. Evaluation summarized as “Meets Expectations”.
