Getting scoring contributions from nine players and an all-around team defensive performance by the entire squad, Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda’s B-Squad girls’ basketball team opened 2020 with a impressive 40-22 triumph over Renville County West (Renville, Danube and Sacred Heart) at Renville last Thursday evening, January 2.
The victory improved the Coyotes to 4-6 for the season and was HLOF’s second win in its last three games.
Faith White (five field goals. five free throws) netted 15 points in the game for the Coyotes, who built an overwhelming 26-4 lead in the first half.
