A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
December 24, 2019 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Gunnink, Jens, Kluis, Welgraven, and Thiner. Also present were Thomas Burke and Ronda Radke.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
Open Forum: Michael Keleher was present.
MSP to approve the minutes of the December 17, 2019 meeting with corrections.
MSP to accept a donation from the Red Rock Sportsman Club, Inc. as follows:

MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditches 11, 57, and 61 and Judicial Ditches 3, 7 and 20 totaling $40,536.58.
MSP to approve Pay Application 7 to Cooreman Contracting for the Judicial Ditch No. 3 Improvement Project for $171,509.85.
MSP to approve the final payment of $6,192.19 to Landwehr Construction, Inc. for the Lime Lake Township Bridge SAP 51-599-107 Project.
MSP to approve purchasing a Case/IH tractor for mowing and road maintenance from Miller Sellner at $118,457.00, acct # 10-320-6671; Virnig 84” Pick Up Broom for skid loader from Trueman Welters at $4,97.25, acct # 10-320-6650; HLA Snow Wing for loader from Trueman Welters at $29,033.05, acct #10-320-6650; Pressure Steamer/Washer two wheel trailer, tank, chem rack Model 5305A at $8,995.00 and hose for pressure steamer/washer model 20151 from PSI Powerwashers, Inc. at $6,280.00 acct #10-320-6650.
MSP to have a separate meeting to discuss the removal of trees located on County Road 86, in front of 943 121st St. and invite the residents in that area, Soil & Water, Environmental Services, Murray County Ditch Inspector, Murray County Highway department, roll call vote:

MSP Resolution 2019-12-24-01 Supporting the City of Slayton’s Greater Minnesota Transportation Alternatives Grant Application
MSP to accept with regret the retirement of Barbara Lewis, Chief Deputy Auditor, effective January 31, 2020.
MSP to hire Barbara Lewis through the PERA Phased Retirement Option (PRO) as an intermittent Chief Deputy Auditor, as of February 3, 2020 for a one-year period starting February 3, 2020 and ending on or before February 2, 2021 with up to 416 hours at her 2020 wage.
MSP to approve the Agreement for Records Management, Prisoner Transport, and Law Enforcement Training Services with the City of Fulda, authorizing the County Administrator to sign the agreement.
MSP to approve a change from five commissioners on the Local Water Management Plan Committee to two commissioners on the committee effective as of January 2020.
