Powered by the dual scoring outbursts of freshmen Anna Fest and Kelli Renneke, the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda freshman girls’ basketball team cruised to a convincing 36-24 victory over Murray County Central in a Red Rock Conference Tournament game at Fulda last Thursday, January 9.
The quarterfinal round victory by the Coyote ninth-graders advances HLOF into the winner’s bracket of the conference freshman tournament on Saturday, February 1.
