Eagles soar in second half, rally for 65-56 win over Coyotes

Connecting on 13 three-point shots (six in the first half and seven in the second), the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles won a high-scoring B-Squad boys’ basketball game over Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda at Edgerton last Thursday evening (January  30), 65-56.

Sparked by 15 first-half points from sophomore Logan Erdmann, the Coyotes claimed a 31-27 halftime on the Eagles, who had defeated HLOF by 13 points (60-47) at Okabena on January 2.

SW Christian put 38 points on the board after intermission to take the lead and eventually pull away for the nine-point victory.
