With scoring contributions from eight different players, the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda B-Squad girls’ basketball team played a fine all-around game at Slayton last Monday evening (February 10) and earned a one-point victory, 41-40, over host Murray County Central.
It was the eighth win of the season for the Coyotes (8-15), who rallied with a 24-point second half after trailing by three points (20-17) at intermission.
Kalli Johnson scored a team-high 11 points for HLOF, while teammates Skylar Fisher (eight), Tara Tuin (six), Faith White (four), Taylor Haberman (four), Claire Reith (three), Kelli Renneke (three) and Addison Fisher (two) combined to score 30 points in the closely-contested game.
