Often times people get the “Winter Blues” especially those of us that live in the Midwest. Shirlene Pritchard and Kasey Konrady, from First Presbyterian Church, wanted to do a project to help brighten people’s day and bring them out of these “Blues”. Their project is called “You are So Loved.”
They put together 300 heart bags that included inspirational messages, some candy, a Christian bookmark, and stickers. The ladies, along with Kasey’s sons, Treydon and Bentley, then hid these bags all around the town of Fulda for others to find. We ask that if you find more than one, you share it with someone else that could use some cheering up! We also made up bags to deliver to the residents at Maple Lawn Estates and Maplewood Courts to brighten their days!
“God’s love is for anybody anywhere and we just wanted to spread that love to those outside of the walls of our church. When you are sad or lonely, we want you to know that God is with you and He loves you. You are not alone.”
