Skylar Fisher scores 14 points for Coyote B-Squad girls in 42-29 loss at Lamberton

Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda’s B-Squad girls’ basketball team finished up its 2019-2020 with an 8-17 overall record following a 42-29 loss to Red Rock Central at Lamberton last Monday evening, February 17.

The Coyotes trailed by eight points at halftime (18-10) and netted 19 points in a well-played second half, keeping pace with the Falcons but never quite catching up.

Six players scored in the game for HLOF, led by sophomore sparkplug Skylar Fisher, who popped in 14 points (one three-pointer, three two-point field goals and a trio of free throws).

Kallie Johnson scored eight points (one three-pointer, a pair of two-point field goals and one free throw), while Claire Reith (three-pointer), Tara Tuin (two-point field goal), Faith White (free throw) and Taryn Evers (free throw) combined to score HLOF’s remaining seven points.
