At their March 2, 2020 meeting, Fulda City Council approved two building permits. The approved permits were submitted by Jerrild and Cynthia Steiner and Glenn Gustafson. Steiners plan to remove an old storage shed at Fulda Lumber and replace it with a new storage shed and fence. Gustafson will be building a new house with an attached garage in the Wood Duck Addition.
Discussion was held regarding the need for three crosswalk signs near Fulda Elementary School on Lafayette Avenue. A motion was made, seconded and approved, to order three crosswalk signs for that area.
The minutes of the regular City Council meeting were approved with one correction. There were 4 ayes and 1 nay on the motion to approve Ordinance 237 Restrictive Floodplain Management Ordinance and Resolution 2020-02 to Apply to Participate in the National Flood Insurance Program.
Aron Hulstein, People Service, gave a monthly update and stated that the city has had no water main breaks in two years.
