The Murray County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 21, 2020, commencing at 7:00 pm in the County Commissioner’s Meeting Room, Murray County Government Center, Slayton, MN. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §13D.021, Subdivision 1, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the public hearing will be held by teleconference. The Planning Commission will take public comment and act on the following requests in the order listed below:
1. Applicant: Shetek Lutheran Ministries Bible Camp
Property Location: Govt Lot 1, Section 1, Mason Township, Murray County
Application: To expand an existing Planned Unit Development (PUD) in multiple phases to include new structures, relocation of existing structures, new entrance, and new parking areas in the Commercial and Shoreland Overlay Districts on a General Development Lake.
2. Applicant: Cannon River, LLC
Property Location: SE1/4, Section 15, Leeds Township, Murray County
Application: To construct and operate a 1-Megawatt (MW) Community Solar Garden in the Agriculture District.
