It was a great rain, steady, even and lasting the night and into the morning. Amounts varied but most everyone is pleased as puppies. It upset the plans for the weekend but life will go on. Speaking of things going on for this big holiday weekend and all the graduations, this year is definitely different from the rest with all the restrictions and limitations. The days of the handshake, hug and ham sandwich have changed.
The Miracle of hair dye was on full display in our house last week. Suffering for months, her deepest secret that everyone knows, was silently advancing above her eyes. An ever widening light grey strip was making her look like the cartoon character known as “Pepe le pew”. .?…? So we dyed it for her. I’m not new to the art of deception, but I have never dyed hair. I over prepared, but it went well. The dye looked like the wrong color came in the box. It was a milky coffee look that took a while to turn to the much darker color. Looked good. What amazed me most, was her change in outlook. The world took on knew meaning with confidence and great expectations. All that in a box. Yes, I would do it again.
