Many people have been wearing a much longer version of their hair do due to the COVID-19  pandemic and the restrictions placed on personal care businesses such as Fulda’s Shear Reflections and Mane Attraction.

But with Phase II of Reopening Minnesota, on Monday, June 1st,  salons were able to open at 25 percent occupancy to ensure the safety of both the employees and the customers inside.

The joy of being able to reopen for their customers was evident in a Facebook post by Coleen Bui posted on Sunday morning, May 31st. She wrote: “Good morning, friends! WE WILL OFFICIALLY BE OPEN TUESDAY! We are so excited to see you this coming month. Shelly will be in the salon Monday to call people back who have left messages and make appointments for herself.

Coleen’s schedule is filled up the first 2 weeks but she  does have some openings during the third week of June. We are so EXCITED TO See YOU ALL!”

Jackie Tiesler and Blake Diekmann were also very excited to be opening Mane Attraction to their customers on Monday. They stated, “We are excited to be reopening Monday, June 1st! As you can imagine scheduling has been difficult! Our goal is to be able to provide services to our older clientele and ones with health conditions first!
