As Minnesota Governor Walz announced Phase III of the Re-opening of Minnesota on Friday, he also thanked Minnesota residents for their commitment and vigilance at protecting themselves and each other from COVID-19. “We must continue wearing masks, washing hands, staying six feet apart, and working from home when possible. Those practices bought us time to learn about and prepare for the virus- and they will keep us safe during this next phase of our response,” Governor Walz stated.
Encouragement is also being given to anyone who is symptomatic to go to a testing site for testing for COVID-19. In the six most southwestern counties of the state (Rock, Pipestone, Murray, Nobles, Jackson and Cottonwood) those testing sites are located in the following places:
• Rock County:
