Once the meeting was called into order, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the agenda for that day was approved.
The Board approved the 2016 forfeited land list presented by Heidi Winter. Approval is required in order to submit it to state for verification and auction.
Winter also gave an update on the absentee ballots received thus far. Many questions regarding this matter have come to her office. For those interested in possibility submitting an absentee ballot, Heidi encourages all to visit the county website at http://murray-countymn.com. The law has changed and does not require the voter to be absent at time of the election.
