American Legion Post 318 completed installing the new flag poles at Prairie Hill Cemetery recently. The project involved removing 12 old poles and the installatio
n of new poles.
American Legion Post 318 members have placed new flags on the poles. The flags will be removed after Veterans Day and will be stored for the winter. In the future, they will be displayed beginning Memorial Day until Veterans Day.
Post 318 donated a total of 14 poles. The other two include the one already installed at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church with one waiting to be installed at Fulda City Hall.
